The function hall
Our large venue site offers excellent opportunities for a range of events. Whether you are hosting a small reception or a large conference, our hall hire offers everything you will need, including parking.
Our new separate kitchen is fully equipped with hot and cold water, tea making facilities, large wine rack, ample cupboard space with granite work tops, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and now a gas cooker.
Our recently redecorated and refurbished function hall is available for parties of up to 120 people seated. It is fully heated, and has ambient lighting and disco lighting.

The Meadow
Easy access to A12 (near Ipswich & Woodbridge)
New male and female internal toilets, with sink unit, hot and cold water, hand dryer, with the availability of disabled facilities and a baby changing unit.
Accessible via patio doors from the hall, we have 4.5 acres of well kept meadow land available for hire if required. This can be used for larger events where you may require a large marquee.
Situated in a quiet location between Ipswich and Woodbridge, access is easy to either town.
Your wedding reception at Dan's Meadow
The reception
We can help you organise your big day and have contacts for marquees, tables and seating, catering, cake making, florists and photographers. We could even arrange for the wedding to take place at the meadow arranging a registrar and avoiding the need for continual movement of guests from church to venue. Cars can be parked on the meadow out of view of the wedding pictures which can be taken around the river.
Camping or caravanning after the wedding
We can accommodate your guests who wish to camp overnight to avoid any unnecessary need for driving, with the availability of toilets and showers and a utility room for cleaning of utensils. For those who are members of the Camping & Caravanning Club and wish to stay in motor homes or caravans we have a CS site behind the function hall where they can enjoy a good night’s sleep and a hot shower in the morning with the added advantage of electric hook up.
We held our wedding reception at Dan’s Meadow this year and had the most fantastic time, a truly stunning setting! This is a lovely venue. Hired this for our sons 1st birthday party. Was very impressed with the size and how clean and tidy the building was. Kitchen area and own toilets also very handy. Was lovely to get a courtesy call a few days before the party too explaining all the facilities available such as how many tables and chairs they had etc. Highly recommend
